Where to go next
Step 1 | Access Your Stack Instance
To log in, you need access to an active Stack Events instance.
If your school or organization has not yet purchased an instance, visit the Plans page or Contact Support to get started.
Once your instance is created, you’ll receive:
A custom Stack URL (e.g., yourprogram.stack.events)
A temporary admin login and password (admins only)
If your preferred subdomain isn’t available, we’ll assign the closest available .stack.events alternative.
Step 2 | Open Your Custom URL
Visit the URL provided during setup, such as:
On the login screen:
Enter your email
Enter your password
Click Log In
Admins using a temporary password will be prompted to create a new one immediately.
Logging In as an Admin
Administrators receive their login credentials through a Welcome Email after setup.
Once logged in, admins can:
Configure and customize the instance
Add or import students
Manage events, submissions, ratings, and media
Oversee the Equipment Checkout system
Access Dev Tools and advanced management features
If you're unsure where to begin, start with the Admin Setup Guide or the Dev Tools Overview.

Logging In as a Student
Students access Stack through their school’s unique link (example: https://yourprogram.stack.events).
To log in:
Enter your school email
Enter the password you created during signup
If you haven’t created your account yet, follow the instructions in the Signing Up Guide provided by your advisor or teacher.
If your email isn’t recognized, contact your teacher to make sure you’re on the approved list for your program.
Forgot Your Password?
If you can’t log in, you have two ways to reset your password:
Option 1 | Reset It Yourself
Use the Forgot Password link on your login page and follow the steps in the Reset Your Password guide.
Option 2 | Contact Your Admin
Your advisor or media teacher can:
Reset your password
Resend your login credentials
Update your email if needed
If you continue to experience login issues, reach out to Stack Support for help.
