If you’ve forgotten your password or simply need to create a new one, you can reset it directly from your school’s Stack Events login page. This process is quick, secure, and only takes a few minutes.

How to Reset Your Password

Follow these steps to reset your password:

1. Go to your school’s Forgot Password page

Visit the link on your school’s Stack instance. The URL will look like:

https://yourprogram.stack.events/forgot-password

You can also find the Forgot Password link under the login form. — You can also find the **Forgot Password** link under the login form.

2. Enter your email

Use the same email connected to your Stack Events account — usually your school-issued email but it can vary depending on what you used to signup.

3. Check your inbox

You’ll receive an email with a secure password reset link. If you don’t see it within a minute or two, check your spam, junk, or promotions folder. And if it still doesn't come in resend the email using the "Resend reset link" button.

4. Open the reset link

Click the link in the email. This will open a secure page where you can create a new password.

5. Create your new password

Enter a new password and confirm it. Once saved, you can log in immediately with your updated credentials.

We recommend choosing a strong password that you don’t use for other accounts. But make sure it is one that you'll remember so you don't have to reset your password again!
